Common questions
What information do you need for a quote?
Size (or a drawing), material preference, quantity, text or artwork, hole locations if required, and where the tag will be used (indoor, outdoor, washdown, chemicals). Photos of an existing plate help when you are matching a legacy part.
Do you accept one-offs and small runs?
Yes. We handle single replacements as well as production quantities. Pricing reflects setup and material; small runs are welcome when the specs are clear.
Can you match an existing nameplate or serial plate?
In most cases. Send a clear photo with a ruler in frame, or a CAD/PDF drawing. We will confirm material, thickness, and marking method before production.
Which material should I choose for outdoor equipment?
Aluminum with an outdoor-capable finish or UV-stable laminates cover many yard and trailer applications. Stainless is better for chemical exposure or aggressive washdown. Describe the environment and we will recommend a stack-up.
How fast can I get a quote?
Complete RFQs typically receive a response within one to two business days. Complex multi-part bills of materials may take longer; we will acknowledge receipt and set expectations.
Is there a rush option?
Yes. Forgeplate orders can add an optional 2-day rush.
Why doesn't Forgeplate show prices?
The shop quotes and invoices each order separately, so the app sends your specs without pricing.
Where are my Forgeplate orders saved?
Orders are saved on your device, and Send Order emails the order form to orders@floridaplateworks.com.
